I just logged into my facebook account and noticed that a friend joined the Legacy Trail group. I went over to see what it was about and thought I should share with all of you. I thought everyone should know about this group so you too can follow the Legacy Project(s) as the preparation of the World Equestrian Games can and will leave a lasting legacy to benefit our community.
The opening page about the group says,"The Legacy Center at the Blue Grass Community Foundation has a grant from the Knight Foundation to assist Lexington in preparing for the 2010 World Equestrian Games - but more importantly, to leave a legacy after the Games are gone.
We are assisiting in several initiatives in the East End neighborhood and we are working on helping to create the Legacy Trail."
